The National Guard (GN) reported that identified the elements of the corporation that participated in the extortion of a driver in Guadalajara, who was demanded 100 pesos to let him go without fining him for not having a valid driver’s license.
In a communication broadcast on its social networks on Wednesday night, the GN explained that the Internal Affairs Unit identified those responsible for the incident and started the corresponding investigation.
“The National Guard confirms to the citizens its commitment to firmly exercise the legal framework to sanction administratively and criminally any member of our institution who commits acts contrary to the law,” he said.
The institution regretted that “Isolated facts detract from the image” of the National Guard. “We strive to consolidate ourselves as an incorruptible Institution, worthy of the trust of society”, he pointed out in his communication.
In relation to the video broadcast on social networks where a member of this institution is observed in an illegal act, the #National Guard reports that the Internal Affairs Unit identified those responsible and initiated the corresponding investigation.

TikTok user @ capo2290 shared a video on Wednesday in which an element of the corporation is appreciated to receive 100 pesos of the latter so as not to proceed against him.
“Extortion by the National Guard in Guadalajara for not having a valid driver’s license, mistreatment in the handling of my belongings and damage with his weapon indoors, painting of my truck”, explained the user.
In the video you can also see a national guard search the driver’s vehicle and take a set of hearing aids out of a compartment, same that returns to his place when he notices the presence of a camera inside the truck.
“They extorted me”, says the user in the clip, while showing a patrol with an item uploaded in the box, as well as four other agents standing in front of another patrol parked in the back of his vehicle and on which he obtained his identification number .
“I just wanted to see how far they go. Incredible that they did not see the camera, He asked for the money, I didn’t offer anything.” The man responded to an Internet user who questioned him for having accepted the extortion and delivered the bribe.
