Aaron Judge talks about how he found out he was adopted

Aaron Judge’s story this 2022 is one of great achievements on the field of play, becoming one of the best of the current era and dispelling all doubts about his ability. The same New York Yankees player now he rubs shoulders with names like Babe Ruth, his idol Barry Bonds and other great MLB gloriesbut getting to where he is was not easy, since like everything, there are sacrifices.

But fortunately for Aaron, he grew up with two loving parents who raised him, Patty and Wayne Judge, who made sure that he lacked for nothing, despite not being their biological son, being evidently adopted. Aaron was born on April 25, 1992 and the next day he was adopted by Patty and Wayne.

According to Judge in an interview with MLB.com in 2017, when he was 10 years old, Aaron realized that he did not look like his parents and out of curiosity he asked them if there was something strange there, to which Patty and Wayne told him the truth.

I was about 10 or 11 years old and I realized that we did not look alike, I started asking questions, they answered all of them truthfully and told me that I was adopted. I was satisfied with the answer, I told them ‘okay, you are my mom, the only one I know and you are my dad, the only one I know. You are the ones who raised me.

Judge does not know who his biological parents are, and has repeatedly said that he is not really interested in knowing who they are or knowing them, since he has always considered that his real parents, the only ones, are the ones who raised him and made him the man and the Yankees superstar he is today.

I started as a rookie at Al Bat in early 2018 and am in my third season covering Major League Baseball as a web reporter. I’m a fan of the San Francisco Giants, number one defender of Barry Bonds, and hater of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Fernando Tatis Jr., Juan Soto and Ronald Acuña are the future of baseball, Mike Trout is overrated, and the Astros deserved to have the World Series taken from them for their cheating. Besides baseball, I also enjoy football, flag football, basketball, and just about any other game that involves a ball or ball. I’m also an amateur musician, a penniless gamer and very nerdy. Graduated in journalism from the University of Guadalajara, I graduated in 2017. Born in the world capital of shrimp, Escuinapa, Sinaloa. I lived for a while in Australia; I survived giant spiders, tasmanian devils and fought a kangaroo and didn’t die trying.
