A federal judge granted a provisional suspension to the former head of the then Attorney General’s Office (PGR), Jesús Murillo Karam, which orders a control judge to suspend the procedure initiated against him, once the intermediate stage is closed. of process.

Now, Marco Antonio Fuerte Tapia, control judge of the Federal Criminal Justice Center in the North Prison, must wait for the amparo judge to decide whether to grant the protection of justice to the former official against being linked to the process that was dictated by the alleged crimes of torture, forced disappearance of persons and against the administration of justicederived from the Ayotzinapa case.

The judge granted a period of 48 hours for the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) and the control judge to render their reports on the case.

Likewise, he scheduled the incidental hearing for next September 28, where he will decide whether to grant the former attorney the definitive suspension.

The judge also admitted for processing the protection that Murillo Karam promoted against the resolution where the precautionary measure of justified preventive detention was imposed on him.

The FGR accused the politician from Hidalgo of being the alleged intellectual author of the so-called “historical truth” of the Iguala case, and that allegedly in a premeditated way, he ordered to alter and manipulate evidence and divert lines of investigation, helping to hide the whereabouts of the 43 normal students.
