Ayotzinapa case. SSPC announces criminal complaint against Judge Samuel Ventura

The undersecretary of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC), Ricardo Mejia Berdeja, informed that they will present a criminal complaint against the Judge Samuel Ventura Ramos, of Matamoros, Tamaulipas, who has dictated 120 acquittals against related subjects with the disappearance and murder of the 43 normalistas from AyotzinapaWarrior.

When presenting the Zero Impunity report, at the press conference, the SSPC official explained that in recent days this same judge issued an acquittal for the crime of attempted murder of subjects who participated in the attempted murder. of the student Aldo N, who is in a vegetative state.

“Notwithstanding this, as they have other crimes of organized crime and forced disappearance pending resolution, these defendants will not be released from prison. But to point out that it is not the first time that this judge has issued this type of sentence, in recent days he issued an acquittal in favor of José Luis Abarca for the crime of kidnapping and who is still in prison for other crimes.

He pointed out that the judge adds 120 acquittal liberties issued in favor of the accused, for this reason a complaint will be filed with the Federal Judiciary Council and a criminal complaint.

“This judge repeatedly argues procedural, procedural, due process issues, which in our opinion have not been due process, but due pretext for not doing justice to the victims of the Ayotzinapa case.”
