El Chavo del 8 is without a doubt one of the most successful programs on Mexican television and in Spanish-speaking countries, the genius behind this magnificent creation was Roberto Gómez Bolaños, better known as Chespirito, who the producer will star, based on real events of what happens on a day-to-day basis in our country.
Chespirito had the great idea of creating the roles of each of the characters that were part of and lived in the neighborhood where the story unfolded, marking the history of thousands and thousands of generations with the interpretation of the characters of El chavo, Quico, Florinda, Don Ramón, Professor Jirafales and Mr. Barriga being the most popular and protagonists of thousands of laughs on Mexican television.

However, not everything was hunky-dory, there were various frictions between the characters with the producer Roberto Gómez Bolaños and with his wife Florinda Meza, the first was Chespirito with Carlos Villagrán because they disputed the authorship of the character, but the differences between Florinda Meza with Ramón Valdés marked the end of the El chavo del 8 program.
Why is Don Ramón accused of being responsible for the end of the program?
After the differences that occurred with Chespirito’s wife, in 1979 Ramón Valdés decided to leave the program by submitting his resignation in order to join Carlos Villagrán in another project outside of Mexico, and although the producers tried to cover that gap left by the departure of Both characters were not enough, the public response was not the same and Chespirito had to end the program.
