Authorities in Mexico City arrested two people for their alleged responsibility in the murder of Enrique Ramírez Torres, deputy director of Human Capital of the La salle university.
The Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) of Mexico City explained that one of the people arrested is the wife of the deceasedwho had reported him as missing since last August 1.
Ramírez’s body was found last Tuesday in a gray Chevrolet Captiva truck, license plate PBS 7629 (belonging to the murdered man), shot at close range in the left side of the head.
How did they find the alleged perpetrators?
The secretariat explained that with the analysis of the content of the video surveillance cameras and the collection of data, the authorities located a gray vehicle used by those presumed responsible for the homicide to flee from the place where they left Ramírez’s body.
The elements followed up on the unit by the Miguel Hidalgo mayor’s office; the municipality of Naucalpan in the State of Mexico and discovered that it arrived at a building in the Tlalpan mayor’s office, south of Mexico City.
With these tests, the unit obtained two search warrants and two arrest warrants from a control judge for the crime of qualified homicide, which were completed in the early hours of this Wednesday.
Along with the academic’s wife, a man was also apprehended, who is accused of being the sentimental and extramarital partner of the detainee.
“They were made aware of the arrest warrant against them and their legal rights, prior to their transfer to the corresponding detention centers where they were made available to the authority that requires them,” added the capital’s SSC.
