“Chicharito” Hernández sends a message to the Chivas fans prior to their meeting

The Chivas Rayadas del Guadalajara will face the Los Angeles Galaxy in the match of the Leagues Cup Showcase 2022which will mean the reunion of the rojiblanco team with Javier “el Chicharito” Hernandez after more than 10 years.

Prior to the match, which will take place at SoFi Stadium, “el Chicharito” Hernández sent a message to all the ChivaHermanos through the team’s account, wishing it to be a great match for both parties.

“Hello Chivahermanos, the “Chicharito” here sending you many greetings. I hope tomorrow’s game will be very nice and you can enjoy it. It will give me a lot of pleasure to play against you”

The last time Javier Hernández played a game with the Chivas shirt was at the inauguration of the Akron Stadium (then Omnilife) in 2010, in a friendly match against Manchester United.

Curiously, this has also been the only occasion in which “Chicharito” Hernández has played against Guadalajara, since he played the second half already with the Red Devils jersey.
