Latest Nintendo Games Fail To Overtake Kimetsu no Yaiba In Japanese Weekly Top

The manganime-based game maintains its first position in a week heavily dominated by Nintendo Switch.

There are times when the Japanese video game market surprises us with abrupt changes. But, during this last week, the trend of the Japanese territory has not changed much compared to what we saw a few days ago, since the players continue to be fascinated with a Guardians of the Night: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Chronicles of Hinokami that, after his landing on Nintendo Switch, has not left the first position of the ranking.

Although the weekly Top does not present very remarkable novelties, that the game of CyberConnect2 dominate the landscape is quite a surprise. After all, the figures from Famitsu (translated by Gematsu) tell us that the adventure based on the popular manganime can handle titles like Nintendo Switch Sports, Mario Strikers: Battle League Football and Kirby and the Forgotten Land, some of the latest games of the classic Japanese developer.

As a novelty, it is important to point out that Overlord: Escape from Nazarick debuts with good figures and is placed in the seventh position of the list. Beyond this, the Top has the eternal presence of titles such as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate or Minecraft in its Nintendo Switch version, something that is not far from the trend seen in recent months.
